Hi, I'm Adam Gordon. I'm a software developer based in the NYC Area. My most used technologies are NextJS 13, Vue or React(with and without Typescript), and the Laravel framework.
About me
After going through my early adulthood without a clear career path, having some success in sales but feeling unfulfilled, I decided to return to school in my 30's and get a B.S. in Computer Programming and Information Systems from SUNY Farmingdale, Long Island, NY ( August 2022 ). Since early 2022, I've worked in multiple Full-Stack Development roles, as an intern, with an international company, and as a freelancer. I enjoy the challenge of learning new things and solving problems, and I like the idea of being able to create something with a team that can make lives easier. My stack of choice is React, Next.js, Node.js, and Postgres/MYSQL, with the Laravel framework for either use an API or with InertiaJS. I am also familiar with TypeScript and various DBMS tools. I am always looking to learn new technologies. I am currently looking for a Full-Time Position in a field that uses all my talents, preferably in the NYC area. I am open to remote work or even relocating if the opportunity is right.
When I'm not working on my career, I enjoy learning about Neuroscience, Psychology, and History. I also try to maintain a work life balance and like to spend time at the gym, because of the increasing importance of maintaining physical and mental health.

Testimonials and Certifications

- Adrian Hajdin
- Moses Cowan - MNC Consulting
...He trained a multitude of new interns on the framework, and before he left to pursue full employment, made sure that the staff taking over knew what they were doing. He was a great communicator with both the interns and myself. He also learned the ReactJS library and laid the groundwork for many students that followed him. Additionally, Adam also stayed on as a guide to some interns even after his official departure and has demonstrated a capacity to work well with team members, learn new skills on the job, and be a leader in his time working for this firm. He would be a great addition to any team, and I have no doubt he will impress, given the chance to thrive.

...Adam was able to clearly explain the different options we had in a way that we could understand, and he worked through challenges with our partners, to create this for our organization. We have not deployed it live yet due to unrelated complications with other partners ,I found Adam as an honest, hardworking individual who would be an asset to any organization....
